Terms & Conditions of Participation

1. I have voluntarily accepted the risk of death or injury to me or damage to my property which may be caused arising out of or in connection with my driving or riding in any vehicle(s), whether undergoing instruction or participating in an activity or event. I accept these risks and take part in the activity at my own risk.
2. I am physically and mentally competent to take part and my eyesight (with lenses if worn) is adequate for track use and I have no history of, any medical condition that could affect my ability to take part in this event. I will not participate whilst under the influence of alcohol, drugs (prescribed or otherwise) or substances which may impair my ability to take part.
3. I will satisfy myself before participating in any activity that the Activity area (“the Area”) is acceptable to me with regard to its features and physical layout. I will not participate if I have any doubts about my ability or the safety of the Area or the Venue.
4. I have read, understood, agree and will comply with the Venue regulations and supplementary regulations and I will promptly comply with the instructions and directions given by the organisers and instructors and any other representative of Goodwood at all times. In the interests of safety the organisers may exclude me from further participation in the activity at their discretion. I am aware that other participants will be on the Area at the same time as me. I shall wear seat belts or harnesses whilst in any vehicle on the Area and a properly fastened crash helmet at all times whilst on the track or Circuit.
5. I hold a full valid driving licence and/or race licence appropriate for the vehicle I intend to drive and have produced this to Goodwood for inspection.
6. I confirm that I will have my arms and legs fully covered at all times I am on circuit and will ensure that my passenger complies with this.
7. Any vehicle for which I am directly responsible complies with any relevant regulations and is fit to use for the purpose(s) in which I intend to participate. Any in-car camera or other equipment is safely and securely attached, using bolt on mounting systems specifically designed for the purpose (not suction or any other temporary mountings).
8. If I use, or intend to be a passenger in, any vehicle(s) provided by any third party for any part of the activity I will satisfy myself that each such vehicle is acceptable to me and if applicable, that I am fully confident in my abilities to operate it competently and safely.
9. I understand that I shall be liable for any damage to Goodwood’s property (including any vehicles) caused by my reckless or dangerous driving, and shall pay to Goodwood an amount equal to the cost of resulting replacement or repair, at Goodwood’s discretion.
10. No claim of any kind arising from my own negligence, breach of this declaration, error or omission or otherwise (including without limitation in respect of any damage to any car or other equipment I intend to use in the activity) shall be made by me or on my behalf or on behalf of any dependants against Goodwood, the organisers, any instructor(s) or any company or organisation connected with the activity or event (each a “Relevant Party”) or any of their respective employees, agents or sub contractors, or any other participant in the activity or event.
11. Neither Goodwood or any other Relevant Person shall be liable for any loss, damage, claims, costs, expenses, injury or demands suffered directly or indirectly by me as a consequence of my attendance or participation in the activity or event provided that nothing shall exclude any Relevant Person’s liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence. I shall reimburse Goodwood and any other Relevant Person against any loss or liability suffered by them as a result of my error, default, act or omission.
12. Goodwood may use comments taken from the Ultimate Driving customer Post Experience Survey for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice or payment.
13. Goodwood may take photographs and/or video footage of me during the activity or event and may use such photographs or footage for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice or payment.
14. Any material filmed or recorded by me at Goodwood is for personal use only and is not for broadcast (whether for commercial reasons or otherwise) on any public transmission media anywhere in the world (including but not limited to internet, terrestrial, cable or satellite).
